About You

You are a qualified and passionate emergency response professional with at least two years' experience. You are looking to join a progressive and growing company and able to work a DIDO roster in remote SA.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for providing on-site emergency response, first aid and illness treatment, occupational health programs, and all facets of pre-hospital patient management.

  • Man the medical clinic and provide treatment and assessments to employees and contractors
  • Attend to all emergency and non-emergency patient presentations or call outs
  • Keep accurate medical records of patient visits, health plans, and reviews
  • Operate the ambulance as per site rules and regulations
  • Undertake daily pre-start checks on all vehicles, clinic equipment, and medication supplies to ensure operational readiness
  • Provide ongoing medical first aid training and support to project staff
  • Actively participate in ongoing continuous improvement process of onsite services
  • Liaise with and/or support Injury Management Advisors as requested
  • Undertake audits, risk assessments, and inspections of medical and emergency response equipment

EMERGENCY SERVICES OFFICERS

About the Role:

This role is responsible for ensuring the site is maintained in a state of emergency response readiness, responds to on-site emergencies, and ensures that a safe environment is maintained for all users.

  • Complete duties essential to the prevention of, and response to all, site risks and emergency incidents in a safe, proactive and professional manner
  • Conduct training activities, drills, demonstrations and courses in emergency response techniques
  • Train staff in emergency procedures and practices
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with site policies, procedures, plans, and guidelines relating to emergency management at all times
